Help, il sound server crasha quando lancio noautn.. ho letto nel forum di emergere kdemultimedia senza la cflag --fomit-frame-pointer e così ho fatto, però il problema persiste.

quindi dovrei ricompilare tutti i pacchetti di kde che hanno la use flag arts settata... :S
Ah.. e come faccio a disinstallare artsd? |

Non avendo installato kde non so dirti se questo pacchetto è comunque richiesto come dipendenza di qualche altro pacchetto anche senza use arts settata.
Fai una prova e vedi tu stesso.

Scusate se insisto... ma nessuno mi sa rispondere? Ho riemerso arts e kdemultimedia come consigliavano in un post.. ma niente... possibile che sto arts si debba sempre cresciare? Il messaggio di errore è sempre il solito: "Connecting/starting arts soundserver failed. Make sure that artsd is configured properly."
Come si configura sto artsd? |

Si ho guardato.. puoi settare l'audio device per il sistema.. solo che devo lasciare automatic, perché se provo a cambiare (x es su alsa) va in loop, ovvero dice che carica il sound server con barra di scorrimento da 0 a 100% e lo fa infinite volte...

se hai aggiornato alsa di recente alla versione masked ritorna a quella
stabile

imho nn è una soluzione "pulita" i drivers necessari sono gia contenuti nel kernel
(stiamo parlando della serie 2.6.x) cmq l'importante è che tu abbia risolto
