how to setup scim to "On the spot"?

I have /etc/scim/config

/FrontEnd/X11/OnTheSpot = true

useless, the input bar jumps up to the upper left corner.

use the scim config tool doesn't change anything, it shows, "On the spot"

which app are you trying to use?

mozilla/firefox behaves that way: it is a known issue.

oh, I thought it's a scim issue

mozilla turns out to be nasty with Chinese support.

I couldn't print Chinese with mozilla either
