Hello, i am trying to install gentoo for MacOSX.
I tried to emerged "gentoolkit-dev", but only received the following problem report:
!!! /etc/make.profile is not a symlink and will probably prevent most merges.
!!! It should point into a profile within /usr/portage/profiles/

I´m fairly new in gentoo and have absolutly no idea what to do.
I´ll be gratefull for every help.

you need to select a profile
i'm not exactly sure how to do that, but you can find out in the documentation or in #gentoo-osx on irc.freenode.net

you may need to do something like this
Aliasing your default profile for Jaguar (10.2.X)/Panther (10.3.X)
| Code: |
root# ln -s /usr/portage/profiles/default-darwin/macos/10.3 /etc/make.profile |
Aliasing your default profile for Tiger (10.4.X)
| Code: |
root# ln -s /usr/portage/profiles/default-darwin/macos/10.4 /etc/make.profile |
