What is this error? I keep getting it when trying to run anything with Wine, and it never used to happen. I'm guessing its the new version of XFree86 that caused it because I never got it until I upgraded to 4.3.0

XIO: fatal IO error 0 (Success) on X server ":0.0"
after 167 requests (167 known processed) with 0 events remaining.

I'll get that error several times, or the same error with a different number of requests, then after about the 4th try the program will run! This happens when running wine with ANY program.

You will find that the problem resides with the interaction between wine and glibc-2.3.2.

No fix as yet, see bug number 16420 for details.

Thanks cretin! I really hope they fix this soon :). Although in the bug report it says wine won't start any apps, I get it to start Kazaa, but only after trying numerous times, which is completely unreliable.
