trying to compile php-4.1.2-r7 (but all the other revisions did exactly the same thing)
if i simply do it myself (copy to /tmp, ungzip, ./configure, make, make install) it works...
should i just hack the ebuild?
it seem to only get that on the emerge --pretend --update world now, i know there is other things waiting....
checking for Java support... find: /include: No such file or directory
no
configure: error: unable to find Java VM libraries
!!! ERROR: The ebuild did not complete successfully.
!!! Function src_compile, Line 78, Exitcode 1
!!! bad ./configure
!!! emerge aborting on /usr/portage/dev-lang/php/php-4.1.2-r7.ebuild . |

from the php changelog:
*php-4.0.6-r5 ( 18 Feb 2002 )
18 Feb 2002; Karl Trygve Kalleberg <karltk@gentoo.org> php-4.0.6-r4.ebuild
As Java support fails to work with Blackdown, and the fix seems non-trivial,
Java support is removed from PHP 4.0.6 altogether.
Old revisions have been removed.
So whys it looking for it in /include ?
BTW i am using blackdown java.... |
