Se magari scrivi pure qualche riga in "Sano" italiano, non e' che ci scandalizziamo...
Cmq.. siccome ho appena finito ank'io di mergiare la Gnome, ti dico come procedere...
1) Esegui i passi che ti dice all'inizio...

ovviamente a seconda del kernel ke usi...
2) Prima di resumare la compilazione di gnome, lancia un..
| Code: | USE="unicode" emerge cdrtools
|
perche' e' necessario avere i cdrtools emergiati con la use "unicode"..
Tutto qui... niente di piu' e niente di meno di quello che ti ha detto lui!!
Terminate le operazioni suddette fai ripartire il tutto con un bel..
e attendi la fine... ma ce ne vorra' ancora un po'!!

devi aggio0rnare il profilo.... ma questo non è il problema per la mancata compilazione, per compilare correttamente devi seguire le indazioni che ti ha dato emerge, cioè:
