Ok, I read somewhere that rsync was my best bet for moving large amounts of files from one partition to another. I would like to do this so I can reformat my root drive as ext3 instead of reiserfs (so i can read it in windows just in case i need to). I read the man page for rsync and tried the options I thought I needed to do this and I got a nice error. Can someone that has experience in this please give me some advice. I am copying from /dev/hdb3 to /dev/hdb6 (hdb6 will become my FreeBSD drive, eventually). |

system - from one system to another.
To copy files to another partition use either cp or tar.

Well, hdb6 isn't a drive, and you may run into multiple amusing problems when trying to combine a FreeBSD UFS filesystem with regular Linux partitions.
Amusing to me, that is _________________ >>> emerge (3 of 7) mcse/70-293 to /
