| Hey, I've got a bittorrent client set up, can't remember what package I emerged it from, it's launched with btlaunchmanycurses.py. Problem is, I can download, but have no upload. AFAIK I have no firewall running on my gentoo box, and have the correct ports forwarded from my router. What can I do to get this working right? Where to begin checking things? |

Sounds like you just installed net-p2p/bittorrent. In regards to upload, not sure. Looking at the help output of btlaunchmanycurses.py, it says that the default minport and maxport are 6881 and 6999 respectively; that's the rang of ports it will listen on. If those are forwarded correctly, I don't now. To get the options available, just run btlaunchmanycurses.py without any arguments. Good luck.
