Error: Ebuild didn't complete successfully!

Any info on the following error message would be very helpful. I am trying to install Gentoo 1.2 Stage1 on an i386. I did the bootstrap process twice, I get the following error message every time.

Duplicate of this thread. Try "rm /usr/portage/sys-libs/glibc/glibc-2.2.5-r4.ebuild" before bootstrapping; it'll use -r3, which no one has complained about.
