Hi
Is it possible to somehow save your clock settings in nvidia-settings ? Every time I restart X they jump back to default...
Regards

it is possible...
you need to download this patched version of nvidia-settings
and then as root do:
Code: | cp nvidia-settings-1.0.20050525.tar.gz /usr/portage/distfiles/
cd /usr/portage/media-video/nvidia-settings/
ebuild nvidia-settings-1.0.20050525.ebuild digest
emerge nvidia-settings
|
after that you just add something like this to your .xinitrc:
Code: | nvidia-settings -a OverclockingState=1 -a 3DClocks=406,812 |
(change 3DClocks=GPU,RAM to your clock settings) _________________ It's all about open source |

I like this one... it's more dramatic
Oh and I should tell you that the guys behind nvidia-setting already added these options, so they will be included in the next release of nvidia-settings. _________________ It's all about open source |
