|
|
hi folks,
i tried to install World Of Warcraft but i have to change the cdrom (because there are four of them). Now i tried to run
Code: |
$ umount /dev/cdrom
|
but - surley - the device is busy. i dont know how to eject the cdrom drive and put the next cd in.
(i can stop the installation but thats not what i want to do )
maybe its easy but i dont know how to fix this "problem"
thanks in advance

make sure you are not in the path /mnt/cdrom then umount. or kill all programs running from the cdrom. |

not sure about the wow installer, but try to copy all of the discs to one directory and install from there, that used to do the trick with most games... |

I used to have similar problems with my removable media, but then I setup automount and never had anything like that again. Now my cdrom behaves like in windows (in this case that's a good thing). No more manual mount/umount _________________ -Raf |
