ok, so i try to install nwn with the loader, but i run into a problem. When it starts to install it unmounts the cdrom and then asks me to insert disk 1, which is in. then I click retry and it mounts and unmouts it.... Any idea why this is happening?
Code: |
root@SA-Cab37-31 dan # ./nwn_129_linux_installer.run

I have the same problem.
I let the script run as root, tried to create the NWN-directory before (with full permissions) or let the script create it, but I get the same problem over and over again. It wants disk1, which I'm sure is in the CD-drive..
Unfortunately I have to use this installer, because I don't have a Windows partition to copy anything from. Any ideas?

Same problem here, CD1 is in the drive, and the installer is mounting the correct CD drive. Anyone have a clue? |

My problem was solved by recompiling the kernel to support microsoft Joliet cd-roms format.
File Systems -> ISO 9660 CDROM file system support
File Systems -> Microsoft Joliet CDROM extensions |

Ah, many thanks for this hint, Boricacid! My kernel indeed doesn't support these extensions at the moment. I will give this a try later.
