Hopefully i give a thorough explanation for alla of you.
I have a server running Gentoo (kernel 2.6.10-r3) and my workstation (Gentoo kernel 2.6.11-r11).
The server is running ReiserFS as FS, and the workstation ext3.
I have to major partitions from server mounted via NFS.
The problem I'm having is that i have large files splitted up into smaller .rar/.r** files, and when i try to extract them i get an "This is not an RAR archive" error by unrar. I'm not sure if this is a software issue (from unrar) or a filesystem problem.
I've tried "both" ways, eithter unraring them from the mounted directory, and also through ssh to the server and then "localy" tried unpacking them, with no luck at all.
If theres more info needed to help me out, just give me a hint and I'll give it to you.
Thanks in advance! _________________ Beerhazard | Nobelium | VIm | Perl | Ruby |
