|
|
I installed the nvidia driver for Linux and it's in my 'lsmod'. It tells me I have to make a xorg.conf file and I used the sample and changed the Driver to "nvidia".
When I try to boot it says:
Quote: |
fatal IO error 104 (Connection reset by peer)
|
I'm not sure what to do? |

The sample xorg.conf is a *sample* and will probably not work for your system. The best thing to do is try "X -configure", which will scan your hardware and create a working xorg.conf. It will most probably work without you needing to modify it. _________________ Let me guess, you picked out yet another colorful box with a crank that I'm expected to turn and turn until OOP! big shock, a jack pops out and you laugh and the kids laugh and the dog laughs and I die a little inside. |

Look at your mouse in /dev/input. If you use udev probably is at /dev/input/mice. Change the relevant line in xorg.conf |

Try to add a DefaultDepth 24 in the Screen section of xorg.conf. |
