Hi,

I followed the instructions on how to install a nvidia card on the docs page.
than i ran a glx-info and got the following:

Code:
glxinfo: error while loading shared libraries: libnvidia-tls.so.1: cannot handle TLS data

What does that mean?

Also the glx module won't load which shows up here:
Code:

(II) LoadModule: "glx"
(II) Loading /usr/lib/modules/extensions/libglx.so
(EE) Failed to load /usr/lib/modules/extensions/libglx.so
(II) UnloadModule: "glx"
(EE) Failed to load module "glx" (loader failed, 7)

Which leads to that my nvidia card is not working :(

Any ideas?
eeknay

Hmm. Any idea what TLS stands for? The only thing I can find is "Transport Layer Security", and I doubt that's it, unless you have some kind of a selinux thing going on there. There's also something that connects tls, nvidia, and threading. So which glibc threading doohickey are you using?
