how big is the odds that these will make their way into portage and what is the estimated time for this? |

there is no rule than this:
If a user provides an ebuild for a game, it will appear much faster in portage.
Otherwise I cannot tell how long it takes for ebuilds to reach portage. |

I made some ebuilds for "Creatures 3 Internet Edition" (includes "Creatures 3" and "Docking Station") a while ago.
They can be found at: http://www.vatikanet.net/~forbjok/stuff/ebuilds/
These are some of my first ebuilds, so don't be surprised if you find a bug
Note that the Docking Station ebuild is for the Creatures Internet Edition version of Docking Station, and not the download version (though they should be very similar), so a Creatures Internet Edition CD is required to install both Creatures 3 and DockingStation.
I will see if I can make an ebuild for the downloadable version also.
I have tested them, and last time I checked, they worked fine - if both are installed, docking station is able to detect and use the Creatures 3 data.
I tried using data files (not executables) from a Windows C3 CD with DockingStation also, but couldn't get it to work, so that may not be possible. |

I'd recommend to submit a bug at Gentoo's Bugzilla. This will enhance the chances for them to get into portage. |

Neverwinter Nights
Neverwinter Nights Gold Edition
Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark
Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide

A new GUI and gfx for lincity at http://lincity-ng.berlios.de/wiki/index.php/Main_Page _________________ Being a Gentoo user means living in a house inhabited by a family of crazed carpenters. When you wake up, the house is different. Maybe there is a new turret, or some walls have moved, or perhaps someone has removed the floor under your bed. |

What about an ebuild for the Railroad Tycoon 2 port by Loki games?
I assume using the ebuild for Loki's Heroes of Might & magic ( games-strategy/heroes3-1.3.1a-r1 ) would be more then half way there |

Same here. It tells me to check a log file and there is an error about a missing file that actually is there _________________ Gentoo: the only software worth paying that is free. |
