Anyone knows a curses newsreader - like pine?

or anything that runs in a terminal (no X) and is easy to use.

cone is really nice for mail and news.. its as featurefull as mutt, but with an interface more like pine

Well - I was curious and emerged cone as well but it seems it is not only a newsreader but a mailclient too - so if you want to try a pure newsreader I only can recommend you slrn ... just great!
