Hi, I'm trying to install xcompmgr on my alpha. This package is hard masked.
I put the following in /etc/portage/package.keywords:
| Code: | | >=x11-misc/xcompmgr-1.1 ~alpha |
I also tried "-*" instead of "~alpha"
And in /etc/portage/package.unmask, I have:
What did I miss?  |

Try adding the following to your package.keywords:
x11-misc/xcompmgr *
If it emerges and works as you would expect, please file a bug with gentoo bugzilla and the developers will set this package as ~alpha |
