Hi,
I have mozilla-thunderbird-bin-1.0.6-r3 and each time I run it it asks me if I want it to become the default mail application and each time I answer "YES".. Why does it forget that I've set it as default app? Is there a way to fix this (small) problem? _________________ (Our) system as a whole is more or less the GNU system, with Linux added.

I's probably another mail client that take-over the right to be the default reader.
do you have another mail client? evolution.
if you run gnome you can fix it by setting the preffered probrams.
Desktop->Preferences->Preffered Applications, there you can choose default mail-client. _________________ no computer at the moment! |

Yesterday I've installed Gnome (and so also Evolution). Thunderbird asks me to set it as default mail app even if I do not run evolution between two thunderbird runs.. At the moment I've told thunderbird not to ask me about that thing.. Is there also in kde a place in which I can set the default applications, like mail app?
