UT2004 is installed via portage and, barring some mucking about with window manager settings, is all running smoothly.
However, when I exit UT, I can see that it's still running:
Code: | std@tybalt ~ $ ps aux | grep ut
root 9554 2.6 3.9 87816 40668 ? SL 13:33 4:54 /usr/bin/X -nolisten tcp :0 vt7 -auth /var/run/xauth/A:0-kfbh9e
std 13891 94.9 33.5 402512 344396 ? Sl 15:06 87:23 ./ut2004-bin
std 14435 0.0 0.0 2608 556 pts/5 S+ 16:38 0:00 grep ut |
and I have to kill it manually, or it continues to suck up CPU and memory. Does anyone know what's going on? |

openal problem -- wont shut down properly. icculus has been working on it. i believe someone in his irc channel said they knew a fix. hopefully its resolved next patch. same problem was for americas army. i think they fixed that in the new AA 2.5 to be released any second, so i think UT should be fixed soon too.
