I got the same problem, although I have switched to the emu10k1 driver.
This driver however seems to bork when I use my second output channel...but that doesn't get used that often...
Would be nice to be able to use ALSA though
Anyone have any ideas about this ?

I get crackled sound in UT2003 no matter whether I use ALSA or OSS drivers for emu10k1. Usually changing the sound options to "Safe Mode" makes it go away. |

It is quite weird to say so, but it performs quite well. My comps suites things like xine (although i still use mplayer of coz.) and arts etc.. as it is a SMP comp with lots of ram and a very fast graphics cards. |
