Man, your LiveCD(2.30) boots PERFECTLY and your mkfs.reiser4 also, in v2.30!

I've installed a lot of machines using "Stage 1on3 with GCC 3.4.4" and your 2.30 RR4.
It's strange why the Reiser4 in the 2.60.3 doesn't work equally good...

Thanks again,
Phk

Phk, please wait until RR4 2.60.4 is out. I've changed the kernel and updated reiser4progs to 1.0.5. Can you wait a little bit more ;) :D ?

lxnay,

Will the even newer patch (2.60.4) allow the Installer feature to work properly, or at least start?
It seems there's more and more people who can't get it to even start, including me.
Whatever is needed to get it going should be done as soon as you can.

I wouldn't mind just patching my current ISO to your new version and re-burn a DVD with that.

You don't know what you're talking about. Have you ever seen a LiveCD that has anaconda, too? ;) Please be patient, GLI will grow and will grow a lot in RR4 2.60.4

mumble... i think that your partition table got corrupted, try to do (as root), fdisk and see if it reports problems.

Hey thanks for the reply! I don't think it is the partition table because every other OS installs just fine!

I still have to download one iso image.. might as well be the newest one instead of the old one and an xdelta.

The good news is that I'm pumping out 33kb/s steadly, the bad news is that downloading is at a staggering 0kb/s, I'm guessing the primary seeder is on a slow connection.

Hello, si there a problem with the patch 2.60.3-2.60.4 ?

Code:

tar xvjf 2.60.3-to-2.60.4.tar.bz2
2.60.3-to-2.60.4/
2.60.3-to-2.60.4/2.60.3-to-2.60.4-0
2.60.3-to-2.60.4/2.60.3-to-2.60.4-1

bzip2: Data integrity error when decompressing.
Input file = (stdin), output file = (stdout)

It is possible that the compressed file(s) have become corrupted.
You can use the -tvv option to test integrity of such files.

You can use the `bzip2recover' program to attempt to recover
data from undamaged sections of corrupted files.

tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now

Please retry now. As usual, scarlet FTP has truncated the file. I'm trying to download it again
it should have this md5:
