I would like to configure overscan with this video card using tv out.
I'm using xorg 6.8.2-r4 and ati-drivers 8.16.20-r1.
Trying to modify this section makes no difference.
Code:
    Option "TVHSizeAdj"                 "0"
    Option "TVVSizeAdj"                 "0"
    Option "TVHPosAdj"                  "0"
    Option "TVVPosAdj"                  "0"
    Option "TVHStartAdj"                "0"
    Option "TVColorAdj"                 "0"

Can anyone tell me how can I adjust overscan?

# lspci -v (output)
Code:
0000:01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RS480 [Radeon Xpress 200G Series] (prog-if 00 [VGA])

        I/O ports at d800 [size=256]

Expansion ROM at ff4c0000 [disabled] [size=128K]

Thanks!

I have the same problem. Adjusting those settings doesn't seem to do anything, although it should.

I'm running an AMD Sempron 2800+ 64-bit CPU on a Socket 754 MSI RS482M-IL motherboard with on-board video. It has the Radeon Xpress 200 chipset.

I have Xorg 6.8.2-r6 with ati-drivers 8.18.8. I've tried a config made by fglrxconfig, and have tried numerous combinations of settings and edits. Still can't get the desktop to completely fill the screen.

Apparently this is a known bug. Found it at ATI's bugzilla site:
