Say you have /mnt/something
and it is an smbfs mount to another system
and then in your home directory
you've done: ln -s /mnt/something something
so you have the something directory in your home directory
if the /mnt/something isnt mounted
ls --color=auto
will NOT work in your home directory now.
I have no earthly idea who to report this one to, the binutls team? the samba team? gentoo dev's? Could go to many different people... |

Seems to only happen after the windows machine that the mount is connected to reboots while connected. |
