Error inserting nvidia module

Hi,

I keeping getting the following error when trying to insert the nvidia module. Any help would be most welcome.

i did get that error reported when i done a fresh install of gentoo, i had activated the nvidia frame buffer in the kernel, nvidiafb i believe it's called, if you have selected this go back turn it off remake kernel. Also have you updated both nvidia-kernel and nvidia-glx to the same version and that /usr/src/linux points to your current kernel. Hope this helps.

Perfect, removing nvidiafb from the kernel did the trick.
