Hi,
I can't find anything specific related to assisted builds of new stage1 archives and was wondering if such a tool exists and the state of functionality offered if it does in fact exist.
I am keen to try building a new Zaurus Gentoo distribution aimed at the newer PXA270 based Zauruses (in particular my SL-C3000 device) and would like to make this build based upon an optimised toolchain for the PXA270 using soft floating point (probably the softvfp variant).
If such a tool does not exist then perhaps there is a skeleton stage1 and a list of binary projects that must be built for the target architecture to fully populate the stage1 to a functional stage1 environment. If anyone has details about this as an alternative to an assisted stage1 build then I would be most interested in hearing about it.
Regards,
Andy |

Moved from Installing Gentoo to Gentoo on Alternative Architectures.

Consult the data found here: http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/releng/index.xml
There you'll find all the tools & data necessary to build your own stageballs (as we sometimes call them), among other targets.
