chgrp on read-only directory....

Feels stupied write to newbie forum...but anyway, if I can't solove this one than I am a newbie....

I have some NTFS partitions on my disk, except XFS and swapspace. On one of them ( /dev/hda6 ) I store all my mp3's and OGG's . So I made some directorys, like /mnt/win-c /mnt/win-d and /mnt/win-e where I wanted to mount my partitions. And everything is fine, I got the read-only access to them....only when I'm root. If I login with my default account (member of useres and wheel) I can't access /mnt/win-e (where I mounted /dev/hda6). When I tried to chage group of the directory, I got a message that it was impossible because the file system is read-only! OK, I unmounted /mnt/win-e and then chaged. So /mnt/win-e has owner: root and group: wheel. Everything was OK I thought so I remounted /dev/hda6. And then started XMMS to add some songs to playlist. But! Now way! Still no access! Anybody knows how to fix it??
As I said....I didn't knew I was such a newbie....

Check your /etc/fstab file. Chances are, you're mounting those file systems as read-only. (ro)

man fstab for more info.

One of entries in my fstab looks like that:
/dev/hda6 /mnt/win-e ntfs defaults 0 0
Is it correct or should I change something?
