Xin Chào !
I've upgraded my kernel from 2.6.12-rc1 to 2.6.14.2, and since, when I run shutdown -h 0, the system does shutdown, but the PC does not switch off by itself; I have to turn it off "manually", by pushing on the on/off button.
Any suggestions ?
Thanx _________________ Core 2 Quad 9400, Asus PQ5 Pro, Nvidia Geforce GTX 66O

I think you need ACPI or APM support in your kernel for your computer to power off on it's own when you shut down |

Thanx for the tip; I'll check on what are ACPI and APM and how to use them, but if U have any more information about these, don't hesitate, U'll make me save some time. _________________ Core 2 Quad 9400, Asus PQ5 Pro, Nvidia Geforce GTX 66O |
