First off new user.....but have friend to help
I have troubleshooted for my networkcard but gentoo will not reconize......could someone post a link were i could get a driver for it and how to install it.
I am useing intergrated intel 10/100 network card on the P4P800-VM asus MOBO

If it is Intel, then it uses the e100 driver, most likely. In "make menuconfig", type:

Ya did e100 but i did not work....
the boot disk of x86 full(not the minimal) had the drivers....but that has way to much anyways...........a outside 3party link for the driver would be good |

you definatley just need the e100 driver, if you compile it as a module you will need to add e100 to your modules autoload file. |
