Hi,

I hope there are any experienced users of cinelerra here, can´t find a good forum of cinelerra users anywhere else.

Info: Editing (basic) and rendering with cinelerra worked very well.

The problem: I have a project with 1 video and 4 audio tracks. I want to fade in and out 2 of the audio tracks with keyframes. But saving and reopening the project made disappear them. Now I´m wondering, if maybe I made something wrong.

If anyone is here, who is experienced in working with keyframes, please reply. I will then describe how I did it.

Thanks in advance

Frank

I've just upgraded to cinelerra-cvs-20051005 (well I had to, as new versions of mjpegtools and some others broke older version) and keyframes are vanishing for me as well.

It seems as if they are being saved, as the XML project files get bigger as each new keyframe is generated, but they are just not being loaded back.

A bug was posted, but it was fixed by the cinelerra-cvs guys... two days after the 20051005 snapshot that's in portage appeared. Someone pointed this out, and the bug was blindly closed as NEEDINFO in less than an hour with the terse reply "which version?".

I'm probably gonna bump this bug.

Hi gkmac,

thanks for the reply.

I searched almost everywhere, to read if someone else has this bug. But I didn´t find anything. I wasn´t very sure if I´m doing things right. In the morning I was trying again, with a new project. Same error. I tried with "Autogenerated keyframes". They also disappear and with them the waves of my audiotrack.

I would like to have this feature working.

Thanks again

Frank
