ciao a tutti
sto tentando di avviare un window manager alternativo in una sessione corrente in X.
Ho cercato su internet e ho trovato una procedura che, a quanto sembra, è efficacie. Purtroppo non riesco a procedere perchè continua a darmi un errore di connessione:

Ovviamente ho provveduto ad aprire la porta tcp 6000:

Ho abilitato pure tutti gli host con "xhost +" ma continua a permanere l'errore.
Il codice di avvio che utilizzo è:
| Code: | | xinit ~/.xinitrc.wmaker -- /usr/X11R6/bin/Xnest :3 -geometry 800x600 |
nel file .xinitrc.wmaker ho la stringa "exec /usr/bin/wmaker"
Qualcuno conosce un modo per risolvere questo problema?

ho risolto aggiungendo -ac a Xnest

non ho capito cosa intendi precisamente qui.
vuoi due sessioni di X contemporaneamente? tipo una su vt7 e una su vt8? |

No, credo voglia una finestra all'interno di una sessione X. All'interno di tale finestra deve girare un'altra sessione X.
