I noticed that when I boot in to gentoo and I use my usb external hd I don't get any eth0 but lo shows but when I take it out and do a reboot it shows up ip and all . Modules built or support compiled into kernel has excalmation points in red on command line and also the ndiwrapper was a no go for the wireless. I get nothing as far as the wireless, went into the kernel but can't find the net radio to turn it on? I have downloaded all of enlightenment to my home file, can someone show the post to load from there .tired of kde now want something different...........

make sure your card is supported under ndiswrapper before you try installing it (you can find the huge list at their website). If it is not check to see if your card is maybe a prims based wireless card as there are drivers somewhere on the net for those as well (cant remember of the top of my head, but google tends to work).

Just for your information though, i used to use a d-link wireless-g520 card, and it worked perfectly under ndiswrapper.
