KDE automount

How do I make KDE automatically mount my MP3 player when I plug it in?

I have hal, dbus, and ivman. What I'm I missing?

Is KDE compiled with the hal USE flag, and is hald running?

In my case I had to install pmount instead od ivman to get automounting under KDE working.
