I've been trying to install gensplash. I think I'm having a problem with my framebuffer or something related. Even If my Laptop boots it the screen blinks (black & white horizontal lines) instead of showing the gensplash. I tried with genkernal, but no luck. Any comments?
I'm using kernel: 2.6.11-r9
My video card:

| I had an Averatec 3150 and had no luck using vesafb-tng, but vesafb worked fine, so you may want to try that. What is the kernel line in your grub.conf? |
