Salve,
ho installato su un portatile Acer Aspire 1301 Gentoo 2005.1 con desktop KDE 3.4.1 ed ho problemi con l'audio.
A seguire ci sono i passaggi che ho eseguito

Configurazione del kernel 2.6.12-gentoo-r6

Configurazione della scheda audio

# amixer set Master 100 unmute
# amixer set PCM 100 unmute
# rc-update add alsasound boot

(Quanto sopra detto in un'altra partizione con Gentoo 2005.1 kernel 2.6.12-gentoo-r6 e desktop Gnome, non mi da nessun problema e funziona tutt'ora)

Configurazione del Sound System nel Control Center di KDE
Specificato ALSA come sound system
Attivato Full Duplex
Frequenza di campionamento a 16 bits

Il risultato è:
Il testo del suono da Control Center non da nessun suono.
I suoni di sistema non funzionano
Alcune applicazioni multimediali funzionano (sound-juicer) altre no (mplayer), xmms non mi fa entrare in nessuna directory e quindi non l'hp potuto provare (problema di permessi ???)
Forse c'è qualche file, che io non so, da configurare per poter coniugare bene KDE a Alsa ?
