hi,
ich weiss nicht seit wann genau, aber ich kann nicht mehr brennen. vor geraumer zeit hat es noch geklappt.
cdrecord -scanbus gibt mir keinen brenner aus. chmod 4755 ist natürlich gemacht
ausgabe von cdrecord -scanbus aufgerufen als root:

k3b findet ebenfalls keinen brenner mehr, als root wird der brenner wenigstens noch als lesegerät angegeben, als user sind beide felder leer.
beim starten kommt folgende fehlermeldung mehrmals (root)

in /dev gibt es auch kein verzeichnis cdroms mehr, der brenner ist lediglich als /dev/hdc dort vorhanden.
laut dmesg wird der brenner korrekt erkannt:

irgendwie hab ich das gefühl, das es mit udev zusammen hängt.
kann mir da jemand helfen, bitte, ich verzweifel langsam. hab diverse forenbeiträge zu diesem thema schon abgearbeitet ohne grösseren erfolg, langsam habe ich die vermutung , das ich mir die udev-rules verhunzt hab

Das ist ja schon ein Uralt-Kernel - ich kann mich dran erinnern, daß es mit einigen Kerneln der 2.6'er Reihe vor einiger Zeit mal Probleme beim Brennen gab.
Probier es doch mal mit einem aktuellen Kernel (2.6.15).

bekomme die gleiche meldung auch mit dem aktuelleren kernel.

Liegt evtl daran, dass nicht mehr über die SCSI Treiber gebrannt wird?
Ich bekomm die gleiche Meldung.
Wenn du einen normalen IDE Brenner hast, würde ich mal im Kernel schauen, ob du da was vergesssen hast.
Ansonsten in K3B schauen, ob du in der richtigen Gruppe bist (k3bconfig)
