Machine ball :
Offical web page
Machine Ball on the Linux Game Tome
It is a REALLY fun game.
The only probelm is that you must be two one the same computer to play it.
On the official web page there are binaries that work fine.
Compiling from sources is difficult because the game requires really specific versions of some libraries.

EDIT: See Tracking Linux-games that lack ebuilds (new thread)
The original post in this thread hasn't been updated in a long time. If someone wants to maintain a new list, feel free to start a new thread, and I'll sticky it instead. If not, I'll unstick this post in a week or so. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |

I'd like to ask this question as well. It's now been 2 years since Pythonhead made the ebuild and 1 year since Eldomir asked about it, and no one seems to know anything about what happened. Dungeon Crawl is one of my favourite games, and I would really like an ebuild for it: my build seems to have broken the teleport control, and I've looked for the problem but would need to learn a lot about the curses libraries and keyboard input before I would be able to fix it.
Is anyone trying to get this into the Portage tree any more? Does anyone know what happened to Pythonhead's ebuild? _________________ Flying is the art of throwing yourself at the ground and missing.
