(II) fglrx(0): [drm] removed 1 reserved context for kernel
(II) fglrx(0): [drm] unmapping 8192 bytes of SAREA 0xf8871000 at 0xb7529000
FreeFontPath: FPE "/usr/share/fonts/misc/" refcount is 2, should be 1; fixing.
I found this at the end of an Xorg.93.log does that mean DRM got dropped? |

One thing I prolly should have mentioned earlier silly me. I can get direct rendering goin if i start normal GDM + Gnome. Its only with XGL that it stuffs up. |

no, it doesn't, 'cause I didn't even have xgl installed, X 7.0.0 just doesn't work with the ati drivers yet. I' ll just wait for the next release of the fglrx driver.. for now, i'm falling back to X 6.8.2 _________________ GNU/Linux is an operating system.

I think my posts here were somehow misleading.... I thought that m_spidey has problem with xorg7 not xgl I have moduler X installed along with fglrx and everything works just fine... CloudBolt if you would be so kind as to post the output of:
LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose glxinfo
Maybe I could help, as I've said 3d accel works form me using fglrx and modular xorg.... |
