salut ;o)
bien alors voila l'installation de cette entoo est toute fraiche avec le serveur X modulaire

tout fonctionne presque bien cependant j'ai un gros defaut a partir du terminal:

par exemple : localhost ~ # glxinfo | me renvoie :

Error: unable to open display (null)


ou encore glxgears :

couldn't open display (null)

je precise egalement que lorsque je "tue" le serveur x par conrol+alt+retour_arriere je me retrouve sur un ecran noir , que si je veux aller sur une console depuis le serveur X , uelque sois la console (1 , 2 , etc) je me retrouve sur un ecran noir et suis obliger de rebooter "a la sauvage" ; enfin quand je redemare normalement ou que j'arrette la machine je me retrouve sur un ecran noir jusqu'a l'arret ou le reboot)

j'utilise les dernier drivers ATI (radeon X800)

en gros tout fonctionne tres bien , a part ce bug d'affichage qui me gene surtout dans une console terminal pour obtenir des info type glxgear ou autre

a tout hazards, as-tu ajouté ton user dans le groupe video ?
pour vérifier... cat /etc/group et s'il n'y est pas tu l'ajoute ainsi

j'arrive pas a localiser le fichier qui fixe la variable $DISPLAY, mais tu peux surement l'ajouter
/etc/profile ou dans /etc/env.d/10xorg par exemple.
