I used ethtool but it makes the old settings come back at reboot. Is there a way of making it permanent? |

Check the module documentation of your network card. Using mii-tool or ethtool are a good way to do it, but there is native functionality built into the module that will let you set these options when you load the module. And by adding it to your module config, it will keep across reboots. |

if everything else fails you could always put it into /etc/conf.d/local.start _________________ Nothing is secure / Security is always a trade-off with usability / Do not assume anything / Trust no-one, nothing / Paranoia is your friend / Think for yourself |
