I just did an emerge sync and now I am getting a lot of the following:

The first one was complaining graphviz couldn't being upgraded because it couldn't install gcc3.2 (i didn't even remember what graphviz was so I just removed it...) and now this one is showing up in it's place...

I am still using gcc2.x so I know why it can't install the version glibc and gcc3 needed, but why is it starting to complain about it instead of the packages needing them being masked on my system (like I thought they used to be...) ?
