|
|
I installed the new Openoffice-bin on my amd64 Gentoo and found it particularly disgusting, so I transferred some styles from a 32 bit install of mine. I rared the whole usr/lib32/gtk-2 directory, which can be downloaded from
here (400k approx). This way one can style binary gtk apps, like OO or Firefox-bin.
Engines included: qtcurve, galaxy, clearlooks, metal, mist, pixmap, smooth, thinice etc.
Usage:
Code: | GTK_PATH=/usr/lib32/gtk-2.0/ application-name |
for oo one might want to add the "--widgets-set gtk" parameter to force gtk styling.
Sorry for the short and raw message, but I'm too tired to get into the details (are there any?) - I hope this file will be useful for other 64 bit Gentooers, especially to ones using the qtcurve theme.
Flags on the x86 box:
CFLAGS="-O2 -march=athlon-xp -pipe"
CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" |

I was just searching for this, thanks .
I wonder if there is something similar when running 32 bit QT apps like Opera or Google-earth, which have a very very ugly theme, and have nearly unreadble fonts. (Im running KDE 3.5.3, and all other QT apps show OK). _________________ Pure Gentoozo |
