Guys, something wrong is going on with my newest database server. Even when nobody is connected to database and the database is down when I run htop I see that all CPU are used by kernel and all 3 loads are at 9-10 points!
Code: | 20:48:45 up 43 days, 14:01, 3 users, load average: 9.02, 9.07, 9.17 |
When I try to run application to perform some complicated query on server evertyhing works fine (as far as speed is concerned;).
Can I check why the CPU usage by kernel is so high and what is kernel doing ?
I'm using kernel:
Server: Fujitsu PRIMERGY TX200 S2
Thanks in advance! |

Show us the top output. What process is consuming the cpu?

None of them. Kernel is consuming 100% of CPU time and the load average is at 9-10 level! All processes are using less than 1% of CPU time. |
