What dvd burner to buy?

I want to get either a cd or dvd burner. I'm thinking just shell out a little bit more for the dvd burner, wouldn't you say?

Anyway which ones are compatible? I have my eye on this one. Thanks.

The liteon drive you chose is definitly compatible and one that I would use. I have 20+ liteon dvd writers in my department and for the most part I am happy with them.
