Hey everyone,
Does anyone here use JFS filesystem with their Gentoo? How is it? Last time I heard about it was about a year ago - not much of a good thing. Did they improve the tools for it? I'm thinking about making a new system - a stable one. Thanks. |

If you want rocksolid stability then ext3 is for you.
I last used JFS about a year ago, and on first looks is indeed a good filesystem, great recovery times on power failures, but after around 4 months, Strange things happened IE: files going walkabout etc. |
