hi,
i have xgl running and got the following problem:
the rdesktop displays wrong (transparent, too shiny and such) when using more than 8bit color depth with it, same for 3d games (i think its 3d related, tested frozen-bubble).
is this a known issue and is there any known workaround for this?

but one little question again... can i export this variable generally or is it to do per app? |

Just have to put that export inside the file
There are all the definitions for different users.

For that you can change the name of the bin file and make a script in a file with that name that execs the bin after exporting that variable. Check out how skype and skype.bin works
