hi,
i have xgl running and got the following problem:
the rdesktop displays wrong (transparent, too shiny and such) when using more than 8bit color depth with it, same for 3d games (i think its 3d related, tested frozen-bubble).
is this a known issue and is there any known workaround for this?
edit: sorry, found it myself there: http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_XGL/Troub...
but one little question again... can i export this variable generally or is it to do per app? |

Is it possible to put the export in .bashrc for just one application? I'm not sure how to do this if it is... |

For that you can change the name of the bin file and make a script in a file with that name that execs the bin after exporting that variable. Check out how skype and skype.bin works _________________ Freedom works. Use it!
