|
|
Hey now.
My Printer is a HP1220 which has a scanner module attached.
I used to print and scan with it since years with hpoj but hpoj is deprecated now and we are supposed to use HPLIP instead.
Well, printing works fine, but i cannot get any scanner detected with sane-find-scanner or scanimage -L.
IIRC there is no additional kernel-support required other than the usb-lp which i already use for printing, right?
If anyone has a idea what to do plz tell me
update:
i forgot that i restarted the machine earlier today and the hplip service was not started |
