hi all! on boot net runs dhcp and all that stuff waiting until router gives data. this makes me to turn on it everytime i want to use pc. is possible (e.g. doing a script) to wait some seconds and if nothing comes go on? |

You coukd just set the DHCP timeout lower, by default it's set to about 2 minutes. Look at /etc/conf.d/net.default or so. 3-5 seconds will do it. |
