Hi zusammen 
Irgendwie möchte das Gentoo nicht starten, folgendes erscheint... und dort bleibt es stehn 
| Code: | * Mounting proc at /proc ... [ ok ]
* Mounting sysfs at /sys ... [ ok ]
* Mounting /dev for udev ... [ oops ]
* The "mount" command failed with errors:
wrong fs type, bad options, bad superblock on udev,
or too many mounted file systems
* Since this a critical task, startup cannot continue.
Give root password for maintenance
(or type Control-D to continue): |
Geb ich das root Passwort ein passiert nichts ausser, Login incorrect
...hab das ganze als Englisches Tastatur-Layout versucht, leider ohne Erfolg.
Hier im Forum und anderen Foren, sowie bei Google und in den bekannten Wikis gesucht.
Fand ich allerdings nicht wirklich was passendes dazu

boote mal von der livecd, chroote dich in deine installation rein und dann schau nach ob du
- udev installiert hast
- im /dev verzeichnis die notwendigen(statischen) device nodes hast | Code: | cd /dev
mknod -m 660 console c 5 1
mknod -m 660 null c 1 3 |
so sachen wie / als lvm hast du nicht oder?

Jup... udev ist installiert und die device nodes sind vorhanden.
LVM hab ich nicht

...hab ich so bei mir.
Hab mich bei der Installation, was udev angeht,
an das HowTo aus der deutsche Wiki gehalten.

Unter welchen Punkt im Kernel finde ich dies?
Sitz gerade davor und unter File systems find ich nichts zu tmpfs

CONFIG_TMPFS
im menuconfig:
File systems ---> Pseudo filesystems ---> Virtual memory file system support (former shm fs)

So hab ebend nochmal nachgeschaut
...die Unterstützung für tmpfs ist im Kernel drin 
Hmm...
an was könnte dies noch liegen, das Gentoo nicht starten möchte?

So...
hab die Installation von Gentoo komplett neu aufgesetzt, jetzt läuft es.
Keine Ahnung wo da jetzt genau der Fehler war, den ich bei der Installation gemacht habe,
evtl. wieder irgendwo im Handbuch zu schnell gelesen und dadurch einige Zeilen übersprungen
