Ahoy there, well...back again. With more issues...
I've been gone most of the day today and yesterday, but I finally got my Gentoo installation done on my box for my router. But..
/etc/init.d/net.eth1 will not start. It tells me net.eth1 does not exist, but I'm looking at it in /etc/init.d, and in the back of the computer
<offtopic> Also, while I'm here, I'm getting a "hw_random" and a few other module failures at boot. How can I fix this? </offtopic>
Thanks ![Smile :)](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Probable answer to both questions: build and install the modules. |

Ehh...sorry...
Can you point me somewhere that expains that? I looked, but still have no idea how to do that. Just out of curiosity, how will that fix my net.eth1 issue?
Thanks, sorry for the n00bsauce. ![Confused :?](images/smiles/icon_confused.gif) |

If the modules which are not presently findable are installed they should become findable.

If the module is available and loaded then the device should be located and initialized. |
